Agency Workers Regulations - Client Information
Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) came into force on the 1st October 2011. The purpose of these regulations is to ensure that temporary workers are provided the same entitlements as that of an equivalent permanent member of staff.

Classic Education realise that full compliance with these regulations is vital, for both Classic Education, and for our clients. This is why we have invested heavily in internal training to ensure that our consultants and administration staff are confident to provide concise and accurate advice. We also have AWR Champions who can offer assistance with more technical AWR queries.
Classic Education know that arranging suitable supply cover can be time consuming enough, so we will work closely with you throughout the entire process, to ensure any required information, such as school amenities, staff entitlements, school pay and conditions is recorded, and ensure that all placements comply fully with the regulations from day 1.
For long term placements and regular bookings, we will monitor these to ensure that we are able to advise you in a timely manner of any changes required in order to remain fully AWR compliant.
