Academics are currently recruiting for a full time head of RE and Catholic life teacher.

The main responsibilities of your role will be:
* Monitor academic progress of your students
* Providing pastoral and spiritual care
* Review, develop and update schemes of work
* To organise meetings for the rest of the team to discuss matters relating to RE and its policies
* To promote develop and monitor RE teaching and learning strategies in the classroom
* Manage and maintain the prayerful atmosphere of the Chapel
A successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, considerable knowledge of religious education and the school's curriculum. They will also uphold and promote the Catholic school ethos. You will also need to have a QTS and a DBS check or be willing to have one completed.
